www.realestate.com.au is Australia’s largest property website where the majority of real estate for sale or rent across the country is available online.
It also has some great blogs as well as free property data.
www.domain.com.au is the second largest property sales website in the country.
It also has solid property news and blogs, data, and auction results including commentary from Domain’s chief economist Dr. Andrew Wilson
www.realestateview.com.au is property search website that has a great free property data website with clickable graphs to get more granular information.
It is supported by Real Estate Institutes across the country.
Property Research
CoreLogic is Australia’s most comprehensive source of property data, insights and analytics. It has in-depth statistics for both agents and consumers, including regular commentary form analysts Tim Lawless and Cameron Kusher
SQM Research is a respected Australian investment research house, headed by Louis Christopher and specialising in providing ratings and data across all major asset classes.
It’s full of interesting statistics, such as properties unsold on the market for the most days, and the biggest sales price reductions.
PropertyValue.com.au by Corelogic provide a comprehensive range of data about almost every property in Australia – much of it free.
Domain.com.au provides timely auction results for our major capital cities.
Economics
Pete Wargent is one of Australia’s brightest financial minds provides real-time thoughts and analysis of the markets, economy and much more at his great blog.
Callum Pickering is a former economic journalist and Reserve Bank economist.
Currently he is one of Australia’s leading experts in economic data and the macroeconomic environment.
The Reserve Bank of Australia provides regular commentary plus monthly chart packs.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics provides regular independent statistics on the economy, our property markets, house price indices, finance approvals, unemployment plus lots more.
